It was windy on the top of Conic Hill ! (Highland Boundary Fault tracks right along here and through those islands behind me)
David helped to contribute to the Tom Weir Statue at Balmaha ! He finally got to see it !
Balmaha boats:
Fabulous model in the Visitor Centre at Balmaha, showing the course of the Highland Boundary Fault, right down through Conic Hill and the Island Inchcailloch which is off Balmaha.
Sad to see but I guess interesting too. Some of the creatures you might see around this neck of the woods ! We also spotted a dead mole on the path today.
The route ... we are still scarily too near the beginning !!
The Coffee Shop at Balmaha is worth a stop -
